Virtual University of Pakistan expresses heartfelt condolences on sad demise of Professor Dr. Surriya Shaffi Mir.

Professor Dr. Surriya Shaffi Mir was the top Pakistani academician and educationist of English Linguistic & literature. She was a Ph.D from University of London.

In more than 35 years of her teaching experience, she has been part of renowned institutions of the country like Kinnaird College for women, Lahore, Government College University, Lahore and Gift University, Gujranwala. She was the resource person for Virtual University ENG101 (English Comprehension) course.

May Allah bless her soul, place her in heaven and give her family the courage to bear this great loss (Ameen).
